  • Offset carbon footprint for all participants and volunteers attending the event
  • Implement Zero Waste strategy to limit non-recyclable/compostable waste to less than 10% oft total waste.

  • Re-use signage and race props
  • Clean up all garbage on course and at finish area
  • Minimize print marketing and maximize electronic marketing

  • Prizes and giveaways will relate to sustainability

  • Educational booths/information will be available at the event

  • Minimize packet pick-up process

  • Provide race water/beverages in reusable coolers/containers

  • Recognize the eco-friendly efforts of sponsors, partners
